Sultanas, raisins and fresh green apples, drizzles with sticky toffee.  Warming oak and cinnamon, brown sugar, milk chocolate and a slight floral twist.

Sweet brown sugar and juicy flame raisins open the door. Sticky toffee, Cadbury's chocolate and cocoa powder follow shortly after.
A different sweetness develops in the form of stewed apples and vanilla ice cream covered in butterscotch. 
The warming wood tones return near the end, which gives a drying and slightly bitter edge, and baking spices, cinnamon, all-spice and a slight nuttiness

The sweet, fruity notes begin to fade, allowing the oaky, spicy elements to come to the fore. It gives a gripping and drying warmth, with a decent length for its age.

 The GlenAllachie 8 Year Old

The recently released 8 year old expression forms a new entry point to the GlenAllachie range. It's a beautiful marriage of four different types of casks: virgin oak, ex-red wine barriques, and both ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons. Theses casks have been hand selected by Billy Walker, the Master Blender for GlenAllachie.
